What type of golf ball should be used

I am not registered disabled, but I hit the Top 90. Yes, need to work in achieving consistency, and my mechanics. I try to use a bunch of "right" or "distance" ball to reduce the impact of my swing errors. Until I'm better what brand and type of base would help me more in my less than perfect shape?
